Bruschetta

One thing that is really awesome about summer is that you can have all you can eat basil. We had this appetizer for dinner, thought you would like to try something simple, flavorful and incredibly tasty.

PS: Basil is my fav. herbs. Often referred to as the king of the herbs.

Ingredients: tomato, basil, caper, EVOO, garlic, sea salt, black pepper and baguette

First you mix the garlic EVOO with sea salt and black pepper

 

Spread them on both sides. Send into a 400F oven for 10-12 minutes

 

Mix tomato, caper, garlic, EVOO, sea salt, black pepper and basil together

 

Finally, garnish them, just lovely!

Geez, it is soooo good. Once again it’s been proven to me that Italians already got it all figured out. My heart is flying to the Mediterranean….

 

(Note) Sub the toppings with mushroom, zucchini, black bean, olive and or salami, mozzarella, etc.
